Virginia Safari Park Trip

We were able to connect to the standards of animal classification on a deeper level due to having this hands on experience. Students were able to classify species based on their overall environment and habitat. We are very grateful for this opportunity and would love to do this again next year! The grant application process was smooth and easy! We believe this experience has helped shaped our students minds by seeing these exotic animals in real life rather than in picture or video. Watching these species in their natural habitat has helped foster their understanding. Students were also able to feed the animals on a adventurous wagon ride tour.
